What we believe.
We are a bible believing church that preaches, teaches, and disciples people in the scriptures. We are also a church that values the presence of the Lord in times of worship that inspire us to follow Jesus with passion.

While we embrace any church that believes the Bible and declares that “Jesus is Lord!”, we also understand that each house of God has its own style, it’s own ministries, its own focus, and it’s own structure.
JESUS
We believe that Jesus is the divine Son of God. That He is both fully Man and fully God. We believe that Jesus died and shed His blood for the sins of all mankind on the Cross, was buried and rose again three days later and is now at the right hand of the Father. We believe that Jesus will one day return as he promised to receive all those who have received Him as their personal Lord and savior.

THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible, both old and new testaments, are the inspired, complete and inerrant Word of God. We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy manual for life, and the final guidance for living a life of Godly righteousness. We believe that the Bible is the final authority on the matters of truth, faith and living the Christian life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third member of the Holy Trinity and completely divine. We believe the Holy Spirit gave life at creation proceeded from the Father through the Son. The Holy Spirit draws people to repentance and new life in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit always moves in agreement with God’s word.

ETERNAL LIFE
We believe every person ever born will, after this life on Earth, live on eternally either with God in Heaven in eternal happiness, or in eternal sorrow in hell. We believe that salvation occurs when a person repents of their sins to Christ, receives Him in their hearts, and confesses Christ as Lord and personal savior of their lives.

THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior, rather than physical buildings. We believe the church to be body of Christ, with Jesus as the head. The church is called to meet for worship, fellowship, discipleship and to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

OUR DENOMINATIONAL COVERING
Calvary church belongs to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, Eastern Ontario District. As such we benefit in the strength of shared beliefs, communion, fellowship, resources, camps and events that help make our church better as we stand for Christ in our own community.
