CONCUSSION PROTOCOL

In light of recent medical research we know a lot more about head injuries and how to identify the early signs of head trauma. The sports at our camp is non-contact, and all possible precautions will be taken to ensure the fun and safe play of the students. However, even non-contact sports comes with an inherent risk of possible injury. In the case of head injuries, most regions including Ontario, have a concussion protocol. The camp and its leaders, including the onsite nurse, will be following these protocols to ensure your student is observed and assessed and properly taken care of in the event of a head injury.
